Satao Camp
Satao Camp is located in the heart of Tsavo East National Park in southern Kenya, a region renowned for its rich wildlife, especially its massive herds of elephants and buffalo. The camp features 20 tents arranged in a semi-circle to provide stunning views of the central watering hole. There are 16 family tents and 4 luxurious suites, each with a small veranda and outdoor seating.
Guests can enjoy lunch by the waterhole and dinner in the restaurant lounge. After dinner, the camp hosts communal gatherings around a campfire, offering a chance to view the nocturnal wildlife from an observation tower.
The tents, typical of East African architecture, have thatched roofs made from sun-dried coconut palm leaves. They are spacious, each featuring en-suite bathrooms with running water. The showers are a unique safari style, with hot water brought to you each evening. The interiors are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and traditional African textiles.

Loyk Tsavo Safari Camp
Loyk Tsavo Safari Camp is a budget-friendly option situated along the banks of the Athi River in Tsavo East National Park; a place rich in history. This area recalls the tale of the man-eating lions that once disrupted railway construction in the late 1800s. The camp features 20 en-suite tents, all with spacious verandas overlooking the river. Each tent can accommodate either one king-size bed or two single beds, with an extra bed available for families. Kuwinda Camp offers budget accommodation near the entrance of Tsavo East National Park, positioned perfectly along the River Galana. Just 10 kilometers from the park’s gates and 80 kilometers from the coastal town of Malindi, it serves as an ideal base for safari adventures combined with seaside relaxation.
