Bird Checklist in Ol Pejeta Conservancy : Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 square kilometers not-for profit wildlife conservancy located in Central Kenya – Laikipia County, the conservancy is situated along the equator west of Nanyuki and between the foothills of Aberdares and Mount Kenya.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy works towards conserving wildlife and provide a sanctuary for great ape and at the same time generate income through wildlife tourism.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa which reached a milestone of 100 black rhinos in 2013, the conservancy is also home to the two remaining northern white rhinos in the world.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is not only home to the Big Five game and chimpanzees found in The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Santcuary, but also to a huge population of birds making the site one of the best birding destinations in Kenya.
