Best time to visit Uganda for Uganda Safaris.

Best time to visit Uganda is all year round, though the dry season is the perfect time to visit the country that’s when the country can be warm with tropical climate and seasonal variations, making the country worth visiting all year round.

Uganda’s wet season makes some safaris difficult; that is, during the rainy season the tourists cannot go for gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking and at the same time, game driving cannot be that perfect.

Though Uganda can be visited all year round, it has the best time of the year, and that is during June to July and January to February. This is the period when Uganda can be well explored through carrying out almost every kind of safari activity according to your choice on your Uganda safaris.

Uganda national parks also experience the best weather from June to September and also from December to February; during that period, that’s when the grasslands in the parks can be less, which makes easy spotting of the wildlife in the parks and during the same period, that’s when the animals do gather around water sources in their large numbers, hence making easy viewing.

Uganda also experiences the low season, or wet season, in March, April, May, October and November, during these months, that’s when the country receives the highest amounts of rainfall, which makes the roads to the national parks too slippery and muddy, making it too difficult to move through the trails.

During the rainy season the country also attracts tourists who are bird lovers to carry out bird watching; that’s when the bird species overbreed in the national parks and also it’s when the migratory bird species come into the country, making it excellent for the bird watchers to enjoy the country during the rainy season.

During peak season or dry season, that’s when the tourists experience the unforgettable safari memories on a Uganda safari, including gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, hiking, and nature walks, and game driving though most of the times when you wish to carry out gorilla trekking, you are therefore advised to book the gorilla trekking permit in advance.
