This 6 Days Murchison falls and Queen Elizabeth national park safari will take you to Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will engage in activities such as game drives, boat cruise experiences, and chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge among others.

Day 1: Pick up and Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Day 1: Pickup and Drive to Murchison Falls N.P
On the 1st Day of your Safari, on your Arrival depending on your location, you will be picked up and welcomed by your guide and give you a short briefing about your Safari Tour.
After the briefing, embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park which is about 5 hours’ drive. On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking.
After rhino tracking experience, you will continue the journey to Masindi town where you will have en-route lunch. After lunch you will proceed to the park and check in at the lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game drive in Murchison Falls N.P and Boat cruise
Wake up early in the morning, you will be served with breakfast at the Lodge, after your guide will pick you up and take you for the morning game drive in Murchison falls National Park.
During your game drive, you will spot variety of vegetation types, bird species and animal species such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, antelopes among others.
After the game drive return to your lodge to have lunch and re-freshen up. After having your lunch, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on River Nile.
During your boat cruise, you will get an up-close view of various animals’ species such as the elephants, buffaloes, antelopes on the shores of the water, hippos and crocodiles in water and some water birds. After the boat cruise experience, meet up your guide and drive back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up in the morning, you will be served with breakfast at the lodge, check out of the lodge and meet your guide who will take you to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
On your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have great scenic views, take beautiful pictures. You will have en-route lunch on the way as you continue the journey to the park where you will arrive in the evening, check in, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4: Morning game drive (lion tracking) and afternoon Boat cruise
On the 4th day of your safari, wake up and you will be served with early breakfast. After meet up your guide and take you to Kasenyi plains for the morning game drive experience.
During your game drive, you will spot the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, other wildlife species such as the leopards, lions, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, buffaloes, bushbucks, warthogs, hyenas, bush pigs, and various bird species such as the papyrus gonolek, white backed night heron, yellow throated cuckoo, red chested sunbird, white winged warbler among others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel, which joins Lake George and Lake Edward. During your Boat cruise you will be able to ride close to the animals such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks which will be along the water banks, hippos and Nile crocodiles in waters and various water birds such as martial eagle, papyrus gonolek, pelicans, African skimmers, cormorants, African spoonbills, fish eagles, king fishers among others. After your boat cruise safari experience, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for an evening relaxation dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking
On the 5th day, you will wake up early and have breakfast, after meet up with your driver guide who will take you to Kyambura Gorge for a chimpanzee trekking experience.
On arrival in Kyambura Gorge you will have a briefing about the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking and then start trekking with a guide. After head out into the forest for trekking. Depending on the location of the chimpanzee families and once they are found, you will spend one hour in their presence learning about their lifestyles, behaviours, habits, recording videos and taking pictures.
After chimpanzee trekking you will meet up with your guide and drive back to the lodge for lunch and refreshment.
After lunch you will go to Lake Katwe the Salt Lake. During the Lake Katwe tour, you will be able to see the local people extracting rock salt from the main lake to the landing area for sell. After visiting the Crater Lakes, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the previous lodge.
Day 6: Departure to Kampala.
This is the last day of your safari. Wake up and have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide for another morning game drive in the park.
During this morning drive will get an opportunity to view some of the animals that you missed the previous day. The game drive will take about 3 hours. After drive out of the park and embark on your journey to Kampala with lunch at a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal.
After lunch you will proceed with your journey via Mbarara, equator where you will take some photos, view craft shops among others and continue the journey where you will reach in Kampala early evening.
Upon arrival in Kampala your guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport in case you have a flight to catch or at any place of convenience.
