10 days Kenya and Uganda safari : Kenya and Uganda safari takes you two different safari destinations that is Kenya and Uganda. The safari is the best option to be done by various tourists because it takes you to different safari destinations in both destinations that is Kibale National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda and Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Tsavo National Park, Amboseli National Park in Kenya that’s offers you the wonderful wildlife experience that is both the animal species and primates.

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe international Airport Uganda

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe international Airport Uganda.
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by your local safari driver – guide and a representative of Focus East Africa Tours. Your guide will give you a short briefing and transfer to your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for a relaxing evening, have dinner and stay overnight.
Dinner and overnight: Cycad Guest House.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari drive guide and transfer to Kibale Forest national park on a drive of approximately 5-6 hours, Kibale national park is a home to the largest population of chimpanzees in East Africa and other 12 species of primates making the destination a great destination for primate experience.
Along the way you will enjoy amazing views of the country side, arrive in the park in afternoon in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge, in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area where you will enjoy magnificent views . Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Isunga Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and transfer to Bwindi.
Wake up early for breakfast and later head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking experience, you will be taken through the rules and regulations to follow during the trekking and then head into the forests of Kibale looking for chimpanzees. During the trek, you will be able to spot olive baboons, grey checked monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many birds.
When you find the chimpanzees, you will allowed to stay in the presence of the chimpanzees for one hour while observing their behavior, watch them play on tree branches and picking fruits and take pictures. After one hour, you will head back to your lodge for lunch, then checkout and embark on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot tree climbing lions. Arrive in the park evening, check into your lodge and stay overnight.
Overnight: Buhoma community rest camp.
Day 4: Bwindi Gorilla trekking.
Wake up early for breakfast and transfer to the park’s headquarters by 07:00 am for a briefing session about gorilla trekking experience, a senior ranger will take you through the rules and regulations to follow during the experience. You will be grouped into 8 people and then trek into the forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas, the trek takes approximately 2-6 hours depending on the movement of gorillas and where they spent the previous night.
When you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to stay in their presence for 1 hour while observing their behavior, watch the young ones play on tree branches, watch the silverback play on tree branches and take amazing pictures. After one hour, you will head back to the park’s headquarters and then head to the Batwa community for a cultural visit, while in the Batwa community you will get a deeper insight into the life of the Batwa people, take part in preparation of local meals, take part making of fire, demonstration of hunting skills and be entertained by local dances and drama. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Buhoma community rest camp.
Day 5: Bwindi to Entebbe to Maasai Mara.
After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and transfer back to Kampala with enroute lunch at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara Town and at the Equator for a photo session, then continue to Entebbe international Airport for your flight to Maasai Mara national Reserve Kenya.
You shall be picked by your safari guide once you arrive in Maasai Mara, check in your lodge, for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Overnight stay: Enchoro Wildlife Camp.
Day 6: Full day in Maasai Mara.
On the sixth day of the safari you will get up early in the morning and meet your safari guide and for morning game drive and afterwards you shall embark for breakfast. After your breakfast, you shall go for another game drive where you will view various animal species that you missed during the morning game drive, especially these will be spotted at the water holes which will give you a wonderful safari experience. You will have your lunch in the park and you shall go for optional Maasai village visit and hot air balloons experience. Dinner and overnight shall be in the camp.

Day 7: transfer to Nakuru and afternoon game drive.
On the seventh day of the safari, get up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast, check out from your lodge and start a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park with the wonderful views along the way. Upon your arrival you will check in your lodge for lunch and after you will go for afternoon game drive to sight the wonderful wildlife in the park; animal species Rothschild giraffes, cape buffaloes, olive baboon, impalas, water bucks, spotted hyenas, leopards, lions, gazelles and bird species. Later you will go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Morning game drive and transfer to Amboseli.
On the eighth day of the safari, you will get up early in the morning and have your breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and go for morning game drive to watch the early raisers that you missed in the afternoon game drive like lions, leopards and among others without forgetting bird species. Lake Nakuru is known for different types of birds especially the flamingos which have the turned the lake Pinkish. And later you will be transferred to Amboseli shall arrive during lunch hours where you shall have your lunch and check in your lodge. Later you will proceed to the park where you shall go for afternoon game drive to spot various animal species like elephants, black rhinos, leopards, zebras, mongoose, hyrax buffaloes, and giraffes, lesser kudu and bird species like yellow-bellied stork, goliath heron, little bee-eater and among others. You will see different types of birds before your dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 9: Morning game drive and transfer to Tsavo East.
On the ninth day of the safari you will be served with hearty breakfast, meet your safari guide and check out from your lodge and start the journey to Tsavo East National Park. You shall stop over for your lunch before arriving in the lodge. Once you arrive at the lodge in the late afternoon, you will check in your lodge and where you shall relax and do afternoon game drive to spot the attractive animal species like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, waterbucks, leopards, gerenuk and bird species and among others. Dinner and overnight shall be in the lodge.

Day 10: Morning game drive and transfer to Nairobi.
On the last day of your safari. You will get up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast, and checkout from your lodge. You meet your safari guide and go for a morning game like cape buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and various bird species and later you start the journey to Nairobi, with the enroute game drive. Along the way you will have the enroute lunch, and proceed with your journey to Nairobi upon your arrival you will be dropped at the airport for your next flight, where your safari will come to an end.
