5 days Tsavo East and Diani safari is a wonderful safari combo that offers a tourist with a mix of the wildlife adventure and the beach relaxation, the safari takes you to Tsavo East national park to spot the big five mammals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards and viewing others plus bird species. After the wildlife you will be transferred to Diani Beach where you will engage in various beach activities. The safari starts in Nairobi and ends in Mombasa.
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide from Focus East Africa Tours will either pick you from Jomo International Airport or from your hotel in Nairobi. He will welcome you and belief you about the 5 days Tsavo East and Diani safari. After the beliefing you will depart from Nairobi and start you journey to Tsavo East National Park. You will have the massive views along the way, once upon you arrive you will go for the afternoon game drive, where you will spot the magnificent animal species and various bird species. After the experience you will go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day in Tsavo East National Park.
The 2nd day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, meet your safari driver then head to the park for a morning game drive. Tsavo East National Park is a popular protected area for hosting a large population of man-eaters (lions), on the drive you will see many animals such as pride of animals, red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, lesser kudus, gerenuks, waterbucks and many more. You will head back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return for another game drive, in the afternoon you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Tsavo East to Diani.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after the breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet you safari guide and start your journey to Diani. Once upon you arrive you will be served with lunch. After lunch you will relax and unwind at the beach as well you can opt to engage in various water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, kitesurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, glass-bottom boat tours, dhow trips, jet skiing, fishing and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day at Diani Beach.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast, after breakfast, you will have the full-day relaxation at the beach. You may do other optional excursions to the nearby attractions like Colobus Conservation, Kaya Kinondo Forest, Diani Marine National Park, and Wasini Island and among others or spend the day relaxing at the beach with lunch. After the experience you will go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure.
On the last day of the safari wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after breakfast check out from your lodge and begin your journey to your drop-off either at any place in Mombasa or Moi International Airport with the enroute lunch along the way. And this will make your safari come to the end.
