River Lumi Resort : River Lumi Resort is a mid – accommodation found in on the east of mount Kilimanjaro, 8 km from North Taveta Kenya close to Kenya’s greatest national parks (Tsavo East and Tsavo west national park). The resort is close to Lake Chala crater just like 2 minutes’ drive and an hour drive to the mzima springs with fresh water and the main source of water in Tsavo west national park. The hotel is situated approximately 4-5 hour’s (330km) drive from Nairobi City center and an hour flight to the close airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp .
River Lumi resort consists of 10 spacious and comfortable rooms overlooking the wilderness that are built in African Traditional simple style. All rooms have en-suite facilities of bathroom with hot showers, clean flush toilets , mosquito nets , wooden comfortable chairs and tables , free bottled water in the rooms , comfortable beds with clean beddings , free toiletries to mention but a few. Rooms have large sitting areas and private verandas that give a stunning view of the wilderness and surrounding areas. Each Tent Is well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized poster beds. There is a fireplace where fire glows with comfortable chairs where guests relax and share stories/experience about the safari, it also provide warmth to visitors when the weather is chilly. The lodge offers singles beds for individuals, doubles/ twins for sharing and family rooming options with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

A dining room overlooking the park that serves different meals both international and African- inspired meals to meets guest’s choice. Meals are served in place of your choice either dining area or veranda overlooking the park. They offer buffet breakfast , picnic lunch and dinners served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff and skilled ,they also serve bush barbeque diners while enjoying the stars in the sky and Morning bush Breakfast while enjoying the morning Sunrise.
A bar areas with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, you relax and sip any drink of your choice while overlooking the breathtaking views of the river and surrounding areas.

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
