Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Tsavo east national park
- pick up: On the first day of your 3 days Tsavo East Wildlife Safari, you will be met and welcomed by your guide at the airport and you will have a short briefing about your safari. You will proceed to drive through Nairobi city as you continue your journey to Tsavo east national park.
- drive to Tsavo east: You will get a feel of the beauty of Tsavo east national park upon arrival in the national park where you will engage in an en-route game drive as you head to your lodge where you will check in and have your lunch. You will have an evening game drive in the national park to see the different wildlife species as you also enjoy the sunset over the savannah plains and then you will be driven back to your lodge for your dinner and to spend the night at Voi safari lodge.
Day 2; morning and afternoon game drives
- morning game drive: Breakfast will be served early at your lodge ahead of your morning game viewing experience in Tsavo east national park to see the various wildlife species which are very active in the morning and can be easily spotted during game drives and they include herds of elephants, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, impalas, giraffes among others.
- afternoon game drives: You will return to your lodge for lunch after your morning game drive. Later in the evening, you will have another game drive to see more attractions in Tsavo east national park and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as the night before at Voi safari lodge.
Day 3; departure
- departure: Wake up for breakfast before checking out of the lodge in Tsavo east national park. As you drive out of the national park, you will see different wildlife species grazing, hunting and roaming around the savannah of the national park and you will proceed to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at a location of your preference which will be the end of your safari.
