Detailed itinerary of 7 days Kenya classic package

Day 1: transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo East

On the first day of the safari you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport upon arrival and set off on a drive of 6 hours to Tsavo East national park. Tsavo East national park is a famous destination for man eating lions. Up your arrival you will check into your lodge, have lunch and later in the afternoon you will go for a game drive spotting many animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, waterbucks, lesser kudu and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: morning game drive and transfer to Tsavo west

You will wake up early in the morning and head to the park fir a morning game drive for sights of nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards and many early risers such as elephants, antelopes and many more. After the experience you will head back to your lodge for breakfast then checkout and embark on a 3 hours’ drive to Tsavo West national park, upon your arrival you will have lunch at your lodge then head for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo west national park is famous for hosting a huge population of animals such as eastern black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, bushbabys, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Masai giraffe and many which you will spot while on a game drive. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: early morning game drive and transfer to Amboseli

After morning breakfast at your lodge you will proceed to the park for a morning game drive visiting Mzima springs a series of 4 springs for sights of hippos and Nile crocodiles, after the experience you will exit the park and embark on a journey to Amboseli national park where you will arrive in lunch time. Upon your arrival you will check into your lodge, have lunch then head to the park for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli national park is famously known for scenic background of the snowcapped mountain Kilimanjaro and a large herds of elephants, on the game drive in the park lookout for many animals such as elephants with impressive trucks, lions, cheetah, buffaloes and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: en-route game drive and transfer Lake Naivasha

After early morning breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and set off on a drive to Naivasha with en-route game drive, from Amboseli national park to Lake Naivasha is a drive of 5 hours and your way you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for scenic views. When you arrive at the park you will have lunch then go for a drive on Lake Naivasha for sights of birds and visit Hells Gate national park for a couple of amazing Kenya safari activities such as bicycle riding, hiking, rock climbing and photographic opportunity. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: morning game drive and transfer to Masai Mara national reserve

After early morning breakfast, checkout and set off on a journey to Maasai mara which is a drive of about 5 hours arriving at the reserve in lunch, upon your arrival you will check into your lodge, have dinner and go for an afternoon game drive. On the game drive through the plains of the reserve you will enjoy views of many animals such as lions, cheetah, elephant, buffaloes and many more. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Full day in Masai mara

After morning breakfast at your lodge you will head to Masai mara national reserve for a full day of game drive, while in Maasai plains you will go on a game drive on routes running through the savannah plains of the reserve for sights of animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras and many more. At lunch you will either drive back to your lodge for lunch or have picnic lunch set at any of picnic sites in the reserve while enjoying the beautiful nature. In the afternoon you will go for another game drive visiting the other parts of the reserve you did not visit on the morning game drive. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: Transfer back to Nairobi

After morning breakfast at your lodge you will checkout and set off on a drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch, after lunch at the hotel you will be dropped off at the airport to catch your departure flight back home.
