Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: arrival and transfer to Tsavo East national park
On the 2nd day of 6 days Tsavo East and mountain gorilla trekking safari you are to arrive in Kenya’s Nairobi city using Jomo Kenyatta international airport, upon your arrival you will be picked from the airport by your safari driver and head to Nairobi city for a short city tour visiting sites like Bomas of Kenya, Carnivore restaurant experience and Karen Blixen and giraffe centre. After the city tour you will have lunch and then set off for Tsavo East national park, whine you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: full day game drive in Tsavo East national park
On the 2nd day of 7 Days Tsavo East and Bwindi Gorilla trekking safari you are to spend a full day touring Tsavo East national park, after early morning breakfast you will meet your safari driver and head to the park for a full day game drive. On the game drive you will be entertained by sights of a variety of wildlife species such as the man eaters “lions”, elephants, aardwolf, yellow baboon, Cape buffalo, Senegal bush baby, cheetah, African civet, blue duiker, bush duiker, kirk’s dik-dik, Harvey’s red duiker and many more. At lunch you will either drive back to your lodge for your meals or have picnic lunch in one of the park’s picnic sites, later you will embark on another game drive and in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi

After the drive you will return to your lodge for lunch, check out and embark on your journey back to Nairobi, in Nairobi you will check into your lodge upon arrival and in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: fly to Uganda
On the 4th day of 6 days Tsavo East and Bwindi gorilla trekking safari you are to fly to Uganda, after breakfast at your lodge in Nairobi you will check out and head to Jomo Kenyatta international airport to catch your flight to Uganda. Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be picked up by our hospitable safari guide and transfer to your hotel in Kampala, while in Kampala you can participate in Kampala city tour visiting sites like Kasubi tombs, Gadhafi mosque, Martyrs shrine and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the 5th day of 6 days Tsavo East and mountain gorilla trekking safari you are to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, after early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala you will be picked up by safari driver and embark on your 7-8 hours journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On your way you will have en-route lunch in Mbarara and when you reach the park you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: mountain gorilla trekking experience
On the 6th day of 7 Days Tsavo East and Bwindi Gorilla trekking safari, you are to do mountain gorilla trekking experience, after early morning breakfast you will head to the park’s headquarters for briefing together with your packed lunch. In the briefing session, dos and don’ts on this experience will be read to you by a safari ranger then trek into the forests of Bwindi in search for mountain gorillas. Mountain gorilla trekking takes about 2-5 hours and when you find the gorillas you are allowed to stay only 1 hour with the gorilla, in one hour you are free to take picture and videos while having a close look at these beautiful creatures. Then you will trek back to the headquarters to pick your trekking permits and head to your lodge, in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 7: transfer back to Kampala for drop-off
On the 7th and last day of 7 days Tsavo East and mountain gorilla trekking safari you are to transfer back to Kampala for a drop-off, after early morning breakfast at your lodge you will set off for on a drive back to Kampala. On your way you will have en-route lunch in Mbarara and when you arrive in Kampala you will be dropped off either at your residence hotel or at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight.
