Detailed Itinerary of 8 Days Serengeti Migration Fly-in Safari and Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you shall meet our driver guide at the arrivals section. Proceed to transfer to your hotel in Arusha, check-in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Arusha Serena Hotel and Spa for Lower-Luxury, Zawadi House Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 2: Pick up in Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide and be transferred to Arusha Airport for a flight to Kogatende Airstrip. Upon arrival, you shall meet your safari guide waiting for you. He will welcome you to Serengeti, brief you about the safari and then proceed to drive you to the lodge. Enjoy wild game viewing en-route as you drive to your lodge/camp. Check-in, relax as you wait for lunch.
Later at 3 pm, head out for a game drive in the park and enjoy wild game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3&4: Full day in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy full day to explore the Serengeti National Park on a game drive from the central area to the Northern Serengeti famous for the wildebeest migration. Lookout for wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, lions, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, crocodiles among others looking for prey. Chance to witness the Mara River Crossing.
Also, you can enjoy your lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive while searching for wildlife like elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, buffaloes among others. Your guide will take you back to the lodge later. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Flight to Zanzibar, Day at Leisure
You will have breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed to Kogatende Airstrip arriving in time for your flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel for check-in. Relax at the hotel as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort for Luxury, Nungwi Dreams by Mantis (Sea View Rooms) for Mid-range.
Day 6: Prison Island, Spice Tour and Stone Town
You will have breakfast at your hotel and after this you will start your day’s activities.
You shall have a Stone Town Tour and explore the alleyways of the town as you get to know about the history of Zanzibar and its different cultures. You will take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island. You will take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone Town.
Also, you will engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the use of the species like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will proceed to transfer to your hotel, rela and spend the night.

Day 7: Zanzibar Beach Experience
On this day you will relax at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar Island and enjoy views of the Indian Ocean.
