KIVULI TSAVO CAMP- TSAVO NATIONAL PARK
Kivuli Tsavo camp is a mid -range accommodation situated in the heart of Rukinga wildlife Santuary one of the ranches that make up tsavo national park Kenya. The camp is surrounded by the wilderness making it the perfect base for safari adventure and relaxation as you witness the beautiful Africans sunrise before setting off for safari and enjoying the sound of Africa’s nature. The camp is situated approximately 4-5 hour’s (330km) drive from Nairobi City center and an hour flight to the close Kivuli airstrip then 2 minutes to be transferred to the camp .
Kivuli Tsavo camp consists of 16 spacious and comfortable traditional bandas with a family banda that contains 2 bedrooms overlooking the park that are built in African Traditional simple style with grass roofs and local woods . All tents have en-suite facilities of bathroom with hot showers , bunk beds, clean flush toilets , mosquito nets , wooden comfortable chairs and tables , free bottled water in the rooms , comfortable beds with clean beddings , free toiletries to mention but a few to thrill while on Kenya Safaris Tours.
Tents have large sitting areas and private verandas that give a stunning view of the wilderness and surrounding areas. Each Tent Is well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized wild wood bunk beds. There is a fireplace where fire glows with comfortable chairs where guests relax and share stories/experience about the safari, it also provide warmth to visitors when the weather is chilly. The camp offers singles beds for individuals , doubles, twins for two people and family rooming options as mentioned above with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

A main house has a large open circular building with a dining room overlooking the park that serves different meals both international and African- inspired meals to meets guest’s choice. Meals are served in place of your choice either dining area or veranda overlooking the park. They offer buffet breakfast , picnic lunch and dinners served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff and skilled ,they also serve bush barbeque diners while enjoying the stars in the sky and Morning bush Breakfast while enjoying the morning Sunrise.
A well- stocked lounge bar area overlooking the wilderness with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, you relax and sip any drink of your choice while overlooking the breathtaking views of the river and surrounding areas.

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared.
The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park. Tsavo national park has a variety of wildlife like; Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Buffaloes, Zebras , Leopards, Giraffes , Cheetahs, Lions Etc and over 500 species of birds like; ostriches, starling , weaver birds, Kingfishers, hornbills etc. There are more activities to do while in the park and at the lodge which include; , game drive in the park which enables you to spot different animals in the park and the buffaloes visiting the lodge, , nature walks in the park, Hot air balloon rides that gives good view of the Savannah plains at 450$ per person , hand craft safaris, Camping ,Flying safaris, cultural visits in the villages, Farm visits , Horseback riding in the park, Bird watching/Birding since the park has more species bird ,the watchers cant be disappointed, Nature walks etc. The park has some other attractions like; Olduvai Gorge, Moru Kopjes, athi river etc
